Rules of Roleplay
-Absolutely no Powerplaying or Godmoding. If you don't know what these two things are, then you need to follow this link.
-Do not create any Mary-Sue or Gary-Stu characters. Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus are often said to be flawless, incredibly beautiful and lack depth of character, they are loved by all and fought over by the opposite genders. Always shoving themselves into the limelight, they tend to bend story lines to center completely around themselves, despite how much it CONTRADICTS reality or stated facts. Give your characters flaws and imperfections, no body is perfect and no body likes them no matter how much the character may say so.
-Do not use chat speak in roleplay. Type your posts in legible, readable English and use proper sentence structure.
-Keep roleplay PG-13. Nothing graphic and use minimum swearing.
-There can be NO CROSSOVERS from the Human/Anthro worlds to the SO world whatsoever. The Human/Anthro worlds does not share the same world as the SO wolves. The Wolf Territories have no technology what-so-ever. There's NO electricity. Guns are allowed, but they're crude. Think: Firelock- 1500s - Image This means characters cannot have moved from a city in their history. They cannot be escaped experiments or be bionic mutants. If you want to discuss allowing a special character such as this, you must PM me.
-Make an effort to post more than short sentences. While we encourage members to post long paragraphs, making smaller posts every-so-often isn't against the rules.
-The password to the new characters board is: jackjack10. You will need this password to get into the new profiles board in order to post a new character profile.
-Take turns while roleplaying. If you post after someone, wait for them to post before posting again. Only if another person becomes inactive for more than several days may you start posting more to keep the thread going.
-Liquid time is allowed. Feel free to have a single character join as many rp threads as you can handle, but do not inconvenience others by posting in many threads and going inactive.
Wolf Pack Rules (Note: Wolf pack rules are meant for the member created wolf packs. Shinkou, Akeru and Giaku were created by staff for the main forum plot and story lines and these rules do not apply for the three main packs and their territories. The main packs cannot be invaded or fought over because their territories cannot be claimed by any other pack.)
-In order to first create a pack, your forum rank must be Associated or higher. That's at least 100 rp posts.
-You cannot create more than one pack. Don't fill your pack or leading ranks up with your own characters either. Packs are social establishments that are shared with everyone. You should only ever own one leader character in a pack.
Use the Pack & Roleplay Discussion board to create new packs. You can use the Pack & RP Discussion board to open a new thread with information about the pack and that you're looking for members.
Basic Pack Information (This is the basic information you need to post in order to start a pack and recruit members. Extra information can be included but these are the basic requirements.)
Code:Pack Name: Pack Members: Pack Leaders: Ranks: |
|
-The designated roleplay area for member packs and loners is The Border Lands and Yonaga Provinces. The Border Lands work a little differently than normal wolf territories. Wolf Packs that live here SHARE their lands with roving packs and loners, which means that any member pack and loner character can still roleplay freely, even on a claimed border land territory. Packs that hold the current claim over the land however, should be respected by roving packs, even roving alphas. Though if a wolf that is a member of one of the border land packs tries to visit The Allied Packs or Giaku Packs territory, they WILL be attacked because of territorial disputes.
-Packs need at least Three members to claim a land. If a land is unclaimed and your pack would like to claim it, the leader needs to send me a message about claiming it for the pack. If a land is already claimed by another pack, pack leaders may challenge them by posting a thread in the Pack & RP Discussion board. A winner will be announced by a staff member.
-Packs may start fights with each other only if both leaders agree, but do not invade territories. Remember that the lands are shared with others, so don't involve innocent packs within the wars by trying to invade pack lands.
So that's it for the Roleplay and Pack rules. You're nearly finished! You just need to continue to: MAGIC RULES & USAGE.
