Midnight pounced onto the Elk's back. He ran up to its head and bit onto its antler. It did nothing. He raked the elks head and shot fire into its head. The ferpcious beast fell. It was still breathing. "Anila, we have to kill it! Because, to be honest, i hate seeimg things suffer." Midnight pounced and bit into the Elk. The elk slowy lost its life, and after a few seconds, died.
Anila sighed in relief when the creature let out his last breath. "I know what you mean. I am sorry that I caused you pain." She whispered the last part in the elk's ear. Anila smiled at Midnight. She stared into his eyes then nervously looked away. She dropped her ears and was surprised to see how much time had passed. She thought for a moment, her spirit and the sapphire helped her. She looked around then went back to Midnight. "Cool fire out of mouth things." She smiled and tried to lighten the mood.
The small girl looked up at her grandpapa, "Why do we live a life, that has pain and misery, and no matter how hard we work, in the end we always die?"
The grandpapa looked at her, "You will learned in due time."
"When will I learn, Grandpapa?"
"When your life flashes before your eyes, and you think of all the happy moments in your life."
Midnight smiled. He was to tired to do anything. He lay down and licked his fur. He just stared at the lifeless, once living elk. The elk sat, motionless. Midnight thought, remorseful as ever. "Why did the elk attack us...I wonder why." he walked over to a nearby Pond, and drank. He kept drinking. "Now what do we do?" Midnight asked. He wondered what would happen if they hadnt killed the poor elk.
Anila followed him to the pond, she felt bad that he felt bad. "I have no idea why that elk attacked us." She looked over at him and took a drink of her own. The water quenched her thirst, when she was done she looked up over at Midnight. 'Now what do we do?' Anila thought and sat. "If your tired we-" She was so surprised how she said we together as if it was natural for them to sleep together. Her pelt burned with embarrassment and she quickly continued. "Take a nap." She quickly cleaned her paw's and tired to calm the nervousness that crawled up her fur.

Midnight turned to Anila. He was confused at what she had just recommended. His ears twitched a little. He took one last sip of the pond. He. Silently walked over to Anila. He Licked her on her cheek, and walked over to a shady tree. He quietly lay down and fell asleep. With drowsy eyes, he was just to tired to even move. He dozed off, carefree of everything and everything. He rolled around in the dirt a little, attempting to cool off.
Her cheek tingled where he licked she watched him go over to a tree and lay down. She yawned, her fur fluffed out, she was reminded of the moose from a sharp pain. She stifled an yelp and laid down. She closed her eyes and slowly relaxed her muscles. She fell asleep for a little. She had a dream, she was running forever in a pitch blackness. She wasn't moving forward, nor going back. She usually loved running, but here she was stuck, and scared. She saw a body laying far ahead of her. She tried to run faster but it was still the same distance. She ran, and ran forever. She heard movement them snapped awake. Her eyes softened when she saw him roll in the dirt. She stretched and yawned. It was getting warm.
(OOC: Sorry about the late response, I was busy with getting ready for school. >.<)

((Lol its ok)) Midnight slowly shut his eyes. He was out. not much would wake him up. His muscles ached from tiredness. He opened his dark eyes. Then, looked at Anila. He smiled softly, and curled up by her. He thought of past memories. Blue, and Setreine. The Sapphire and ruby. He Wished it would never end. He remembered the gunshot, the chase; the everything.
He sighed softly, and fell asleep, head by head. He was to tired to even think. He Had wondered what happened too setreine, and where Blue was. He put his head on Anilas back, and smiled. Then he laughed a bit. Doing this, he thought about when the ruby and sapphire stuck together. He Whispered softly. "dont leave". He nuzzled at her ear, then slowly fell asleep.
Anila It was almost in an instant that Midnight laid next to her that all her muscles relaxed. Her side tingled from the warmth that he gave her. She enjoyed the thought that he would stay here, at least for a while, on her side. His laugh comforted her even more, he must be thinking of something that happened earlier. It wouldn't be the ruby and the sapphire, would it? Her pelt warmed as she thought of the embarrassment. She smiled though. She almost didn't catch his whisper, it wasn't that she didn't hear him, it was that she wasn't sure if she made it up. But his nuzzle proved that he had said it. He had said everything on her mind, she didn't want to leave him. She wanted to stay with him, for a long time. She never felt this way about any wolf. His breaths comforted her as she thought silently to herself. "I don't want to..." She was surprised that she said it, even if he was sleeping. A soft breeze moved the warm air around her. The birds chirped happily. The cool seriene of the pond. This all comforted her, what comforted her most was Midnight, right next to her.

Midnight calmed down a little more. Then, finally woke up. "Ow... Headache..." He slowly said. He gently rose to his paws, and walked around, stretching. Spotting an unguarded squirrel, he decided too chase it. He chased it around the fields, until it fled up into a tree.
Tired, midnight went back to lay down. But Then, he rose back up. He went over too the pond and took a drink. Since the pond was shallow, he went too the center of the pond. He cleaned his paws.
He then lay down in a pile of grass, to prevent dirt from collecting on his pelt. He Slowly looked around. He looked at a tree. Two squirrels were playing with each other. He grinned weakly.
'Ow... Headache...' Anila looked up when her heater walked away to chase a squirrel. She smiled and watched him as far as she could. Anila thought for a few moments. She didn't quite want to get up yet. She closed her eyes and heard his paw steps. She didn't even have to open her eyes to see it was him. She almost whined when he got up again. She heard him clean his paws. After a while, when he didn't come back. She stood up herself. She took a few laps then walked over to him. She flopped down beside him and turned her head to him. She smiled and perked her ears at the squirrels. She wagged her tail. The squirrels were cute. The yawned and closed her eyes. She began to fall asleep.
